Thank you for you interest in our Taste of Texas 4th grade Texas history tour. Our school tours are given by owner and Texas history expert, Nina Hendee, August-May (no tours in December) for students in 4th grade and up. The tour begins at 9 am with a short discussion on Taste of Texas and the restaurant industry. That is followed by a tour of our working kitchen (always a student favorite) and then a fun and interactive Texas history lesson. Nina feeds everyone in attendance (students, parents, teachers, and bus drivers) a lunch of chicken fingers, French fries, and a sprite. You are back on bus and headed back to school no later than 11 am. All of this is at no cost to you; all you have to do is get your students here and back to school. We do have a maximum of 125 attendees per day, but are happy to host you over multiple days if your group exceeds that size.
