What is the dress code?
Proper attire is required while dining at the Taste of Texas as a courtesy to fellow diners. We suggest a collared shirt for men. Tank tops, cut off shorts, and exercise clothing are not permitted.
What type of beef do you serve?
We proudly serve only perfectly aged Certified Angus Beef®, the finest and most consistent quality of beef on the market. Certified Angus Beef® is the upper third of USDA Choice and Prime, and has exceptional marbling -- the white flecks of fat in the beef which melt into the steaks when cooked. Certified Angus Beef® is sourced from family ranches with heritage Angus cattle and is incredibly flavorful, tender, and juicy because of the high amounts of marbling in each cut. Our beef also meets ten scientific standards for heredity, age, tenderness, size, and quality that is not required of generic USDA Prime. We then wet age the beef for 40+ days to ensure exceptional tenderness and flavor and hand cut our steaks to exacting trim specifications. The result is the perfect steak -- tender, flavorful, and ready for the grill.
How do you ship steaks?
We ship our Perfectly Aged Steaks and Texas Gifts all over the U.S. via FedEx. The steaks are flash frozen and packaged beautifully in a reusable foam cooler with dry ice, a gourmet grilling guide, and our signature steak seasoning. We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and guarantee all of our shipments for quality. If there is any issue with an order, please contact us at 713-932-9215.
What should I do if my steak shipment is delayed?
FEDEX rarely experiences delivery delays, but in the unlikely event of a delay with your shipment, please check the your order upon arrival. Steaks and perishables that are 40 degrees or colder may be frozen or placed in the refrigerator (if you plan to grill soon). If the shipment arrives above 40 degrees when measured with a thermometer or is no longer cool to the touch, please give us a call at 713-932-9215. Please note that we must have accurate and complete shipping addresses for perishable shipments to be guaranteed.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship Knives and Texas Gifts all over the world for a low flat rate via Fedex International. We do not currently ship perishables internationally. (Please note that we do not cover duties for Brazil due to their high import taxes.)
